18 Staples To The Chin

by Crash
(Florida)

I was riding on an old dirt bike track behind my brothers shop on a last minute joy ride - I soon found out that it was a bad choice of things to do...

When I came out of the woods on my back tire I forgot about the trailer somebody parked on the side of the road and of course when I was watching the trailer I forgot the freshly trimmed palm tree in front of me with the nice six inch spikes poking out. Me with no riding boots, hit the tree almost wide open. I think I tapped the back brake once or twice before I hit it. When I got up off the ground and pulled my pants down by my shin I noticed about six inches of my shin bone was in sight. 18 staples later I was back riding again.

When someone tells you to wear your MX boots... wear em.

Another Reason for MX Boots
by: Anonymous

Dude ya'll aint kidding about boots. I bought a pair after I saw my friends wreck head on and one would have lost his foot if not for the boots. He still got a broken clutch lever stuck in his knee.
