2 Strokes Dominate

Just a dream, no longer reality.
I really find it hard to believe how the big four can steer away from 2 strokes. I mean, it's like they don't even relate to us. Have they never ridden them? They don't love them as much as we do? They didn't raise their kids on them? Maybe they're just blind and don't see how many people really do love 2 strokes?
I have a hard time understanding that they truly love the great sport of motocross as much as we do. I see people riding CRs, YZs, RMs, KXs, EVERYWHERE. I have talked to many riders just like myself over the years and I find that there are just as many people who would swear over a 2 stroke as a four stroke.
I am starting to think the people who have the most control over our sport love the money more than the sport itself. Maybe if we had true riders who love and relate to many of us running our top 4 to begin with we would still have the 2 strokes forever.
It takes just one person with a dream to make a change in the world so how can it be so hard for us who love the sport to make a little change in bringing back the beloved 2 strokes?
I know that some of the big four are still making 2 strokes but for how long? Just watch and see who will still be making 2 strokes and you will see what companies love our sport as much as we do.
I always loved Honda but am having some doubts if they truly care what all of the 2 stroker fans out there (which is a whole lot of people) think about this. Is there no one in charge of Honda and their decision making that loves 2 strokes? I find that a little too hard to believe.
I just wanted to share my opinion and want to thank KTM for staying true to our sport. You cannot force someone to make a decision on what they like.
Here are some examples.
2 stroke vs 4 stroke
Shoei vs Arai
Cats vs Dogs
Ferrari vs Porsche
Shy vs Outgoing
Playstation vs Xbox
Baseball vs Football
Skiing vs Snowboarding
How would the people who love and have a passion for everything on the left of that list feel if they had to choose everything on the right? Or vice versa? Well that's what's happening to our sport.
But we don't seem to understand who really has control over our big fours decision making... US! (THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT IN THIS CASE)
There are many ways for us to do something about this, the problem is many people say they love this sport to death but will not do anything about it and stand up for what they love. So it's up to us. Sit back and watch the 2 strokes disappear, or do something about it.
It just takes one random guy with a dream to wake everybody up and make some sense and change the world - we just want the 2 strokes back, how hard can that be?
