2007 crf250r Compared To cr125

by Lucas
(Algonquin, Illinois)

I only ride tracks, never trails, so I ride/race bikes like the following - but I don't race, I ride tracks for fun. Before I got the crf250r I used to ride a 2003 cr125. I loved the bike to death. The power was there, everything was there but it was missing one thing. The torque of the four stroke and the ease of riding a four stroke. Ripping out of berms in 3rd gear instead of first or second on the two stroke.

Everything is awesome about this bike. It has evo bars, powder-coated frame and triple clamps, Asv lever, Venning motor, and a smaller carb for better low end. But there is a down side to all of this. I was told once you do aftermarket work to the motor, the bike doesn't like to start anymore. So I have problems starting the bike. Everything is perfect besides that.

Work done to bike since I have been the owner - clutch rebuild, normal oil changes, fork seals and brushing, attempting to tune suspension.
