Back To Two Strokes - Tired Of Riding Boring 4 Strokes

I started on a KX 250 - went to a KTM 525SX - then a CRF 450R with RPM Ice Cube 498 - and many upgrades, cams, full exhaust. Spent tons on valves and engine builds on both 4 strokes and lost riding time with many issues.

Just picked up a 2002 CR 250R for fun - I have a smile on my face and it handles so well and always starts first kick. I am way faster in woods racing events. Love it - best bike ever. I love it so much I am picking up another 02-07 CR and will make it a 500AF so I will have the best of both 2 strokes. I hate the 4 strokes, they are pigs and for lazy novice riders and boring as hell - even hopped up they suck.

Mark my word - 2 strokes will be back in a different form - injected or another form. They are:
- More durable
- Fun to ride
- Handle better
- Easy maintenance
- Better power to CC ratio
- Better power to weight ratio

I feel that a conspiracy happened to make the manufacturers get rid of the two strokes. They pushed the 4 strokes hard with magazines when the two strokes had been so much advanced. Imagine the engine the two strokes could have had with the money the manufacturers dumped into the 4 stroke pigs year after year to attempt to make them like a 2 stroke.

Honda needs to bring back the two stroke 250 and 500 with all the new technology with the chassis.

You hit the nail on the head with that comment. So much effort to make the 4 stroke engine perform as well as the 2 stroke. It just doesn't make sense until you add $$ to the equation.
