Four Strokes Rock

by Gary
(Pewamo, MI)

4 strokes rock! I have mainly ridden 2 strokes my whole life, but bought a Honda crf 450 last year. It took me no time to get used to the bike. I think it is easier to ride in the trails and I have gotten much better on the track. It has been bullet proof, and aside from general servicing, nothing major has happened.

I used to have to rebuild the top end on my 2 stroke every other year. I am going to check the valves soon, but have not noticed any problems. I have a friend that has the same bike and he just did the valves. That is the only thing he has had to do to his bike. I thought I would never say this, but I couldn't imagine going back to a 2 stroke.
