If Four Strokes Are So Much Better Then..

... Why is it that most, not all, but most of the FMX riders are still on 250cc two strokes? Travis Pastrana still rides a RM for most of his stunts in "The Nitro Circus" on MTV.

I read an article in a dirt bike magazine where a pro rider vs an amateur rider both took turns on an 08 four stroke 250cc and then on an 08 two stroke 250cc. All in all the two stroke preformed better for both of them - faster times and more fun to ride.
