Not Happy

by Jake Manning
(Sydney, New South Wales, Australia)

I love 2 strokes, they are sooo much easier to maintain, more fun to ride and just all round great to have.

Im only 15 and I can do all the work on my 2 stroke. I had a crf150r for a bit and it cost us a shite load just to do basic services and maintenance to it.

So I'm now back to 2 strokes and I love them because I can work on my bike knowing what I'm doin and I can afford to do all the work on it. With my 4 stroke it cost enough to maintain it, let alone the price to pay for the shop to do the work on it...

2 vs 4
by: JM

The thing that kills me and cracks me up so much is they have to make a 450cc 4 stroke just to keep up with our 125's and 250. Haha crazy stuff.

Nice.

Nice man, I am also 14, and I have never liked riding a four stroke. I love the feel of the bike, and the way the engine sounds, and the smell of the premix. I can hull that thing around every corner, whoop, double, triple, and breaking bump without breaking a sweat. But on my old 150f.. oh my god that thing sucked. I mean just to buy a spark plug for that thing was $6.00, And now I can easily pull my carb off, clean it, and put it back on, in 15 minutes, it took me 45mins to an hour and a half on the 150! I hated it.

For instance, I was racing and I was in second due to a squirrel on the track behind a 150f. I passed the kid on a chicane, due to my bikes weight and acceleration, and I won. After the race the kid came to me, shook my hand, told me he was making the switch, and left. Just like him, I was and still am sick of the four stroke era. I am going to put all my money towards KTM, as you should too, keep our non-expensive motors hard at work.
