Prettys / JJ's Pit - Oregon

by Ram
(White City )

A sandpit located approx 15 minutes south of White City off the 48 highway in Saskatchewan. There is a large steep sand hill with several other smaller sand hills around the sides. There is a track that goes into a small valley in the back and a 50 foot step down sand jump. A very popular riding place for local teens, families, young adults, and anyone in between.

If you catch yourself there after dark on a weekend be ready for large amounts of high school kids to come party around an excessively large fire. Originally a place to dirt bike only, it became popular for kids from nearby Greenall High School in Balgoniei as a place where they could party without being disturbed. Eventually Regina high school students have caught wind and much to the dismay of Balgonie teens, they have begun to also party there. This is why it is important to be careful with children at night as school rivalries often result in fights near the fire.
