Two And Four Strokes Are Equal Machines

Two strokes are better in motocross and for those short bursts coming round, and entering a corner. However the four strokes also have a trade off with the ability to perform better on enduro tracks and/or wooded areas.
The price of the two are relatively the same maintenance wise. Having used both of them, a top end job on a two stroke is half the price of the four stroke but you have to do it three times as often.
I preferred my 4 stroke simply for the fact that I'm more of an enduro rider myself, living where I am. Although the singular repair bills are quite high, I do all the repairs myself, so it only costs me what I break. Which is handy.
Ultimately what type of bike you choose is up to you and what you are going to use it for.
