Two Stroke vs Four Stroke, Differences and Similarities

Four strokes don't have a power band like a two stroke so you don't have to worry about the power band kicking in and slinging an inexperienced rider on his/her butt. On the other hand two strokes supply a thrilling power that most riders love. But four strokes are heavier than two strokes, so that's an edge for the two strokes.





If you ask me which one I would ride I would probably say four stroke because four strokes don't have as much power.

- Thanks for your opinion Jonathan. I'm figuring you're either quite young or not overly experienced in riding. You're right though in saying that four strokes are easier to handle. Just depends what kind of riding experience each individual wants to have...
