Two Strokes Rule

by Professor_D
(Pennsylvania)

The whole environmentalist rationale for eliminating 2-strokes is total BS. There are already clean-burning 2-strokes, and even if they weren't, the amount of exhaust gasses produced by all 2-stroke motorcycles ever produced is totally inconsequential.

I find it interesting that virtually none of the celebrities and politicians that rail against internal combustion engines of all types could pass a high school physics class if their lives depended on it, yet they are experts on everything from thermodynamics to string theory.

So anyway, as an electrical engineer that has owned many 4 and 2-stroke dirt bikes (and even street bikes) I still think there is nothing like the feel of a strong running 2-stroke coming on the pipe.

- Ahhh... it's a good feeling indeed. Thanks for your input Professor.
